About ME

Hi there,

My name is Gary Sobie but you can call me “Gary A” and I want to thank you for stopping by.  I have been doing photography for 40+ years.  Yeah that makes me an old guy but with age comes experience and knowledge.

I love to photograph anything beautiful; landscapes, birds, animals, flowers and of course women.

My wife and I spent several weeks a year traveling around the country visiting National Parks, offbeat locations and seeing our grand babies.

I have traveled all around the United States doing nature and wildlife photography.  A few years ago I started focusing on portraits, glamour and boudoir.  Since then I have the opportunity to photograph beautiful young ladies from all over the world.  Canada, England, Australia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, the United States and others.  Here I am hard at work in Jamaica with the lovely and talented Vikki Lenola.

If you look at my portfolio I shoot everything from Head shots to full nudes.   Uncomfortable with being nude?  No implied nudes either?  NO problem!  You set the limits, I will respect them.  I will never pressure you into something you're not comfortable doing.

Before a photo shoot I have “CDO” which is like “OCD” except the letters are in the right order.  Seriously, I like to make sure everything is set either at the studio or out on location.  But once the shooting starts I am kind of easygoing and like to make things fun for the both of us.  If you are having fun you are relaxed.  If you are relaxed you are yourself.  If you are yourself you are beautiful.  I am very open to your ideas and am willing to try just about anything as long as it’s safe and time permits.

This I promise.  I will do whatever I can to take the best photo of you that has ever been taken.
